Does not look like it works in demos.
Good time to get a supported version while they are on sale.

Its a good time to buy but it sucks that the full featured demo is not full featured and doesn't bode well.

Thanks for the response.

The demo IS full featured. MP3 support is an ADDON:

MP3 Converter is an extension that adds professional-quality (up to 320 kB/s) MP3 encoding and drag-and-drop MP3 decoding to Studio One Artist 2.6.2 and higher. U.S. pricing: MP3 Converter $9.99.

Back again, all the info says that producer should be able to import MP3, the addon is for artist to give you that functionality.

Something is not quite right.

mp3 is the only functionality that does not work in the Pro demo. There is a licensing fee for mp3 encoders, which is probably why it is not included in a free trial.

If you have to use an MP3 just re capture it, or if you can convert the MP3 to a wave file, waves drop right in. Our singer is on Artist and he has just re-captured any MP3's if he had to import it into a track. He is using an iTwo Audiobox, plugged his phone into the iTwo input hit play/record and captured. We use that as a temp work around for scratching ideas and fast sharing.

But with the sale going on NOW is a perfect time to upgrade. I just downloaded Pro yesterday :) lots of extra goodies well worth the upgrade.

Anyway MP3 import in Studio One 4 is VERY SLOW
This is UNSUFFERABLE!
