I discovered some weird thing testing Studio One 4. For some reason the master plugin (Waves L3 multi maximizer) registers reduced level of the channel being armed as monitored or recorded. I tried some different mastering plugins with the same result
I don't understand why the channel being armed for recording causes some volume fluctuation in the master bus.
I'm not saying that I will be mastering the project with the monitor or record buttons engaged but it might happen accidentally.
Neither Logic pro x nor Cubase 9.5 suffers from similar issue.

P.S.
I noticed that during the test above, zero latency mode was activated which supposed to turn the master plugin off but it was not the case. The Waves L3L was not completely bypassed.
I believe this is a bug unless somebody proves me wrong.
