Hi All

I am a new Studio one user. I would like to buy studio one, but would like to know which one. I want to use EZ drummer two and Superior Drummer, in the DAW , i can't do that with prime, so I need to move up. So now comes the question, Artist or Pro version. Any advice would be very must appreciated.

Thanks and kindest regards
Dave

Thanks, I saw that , but from a practical point of view, which one would you recommend? I don't believe that I can use superior drummer or EZ drummer with artist? but what would the add on cost be to be able to use them? Could I do that in artist or do I need to go to Pro?

Thanks and kindest regards

It’s really up to you!
After buying Artist and the VST add on, the difference to get Pro is well worth it for all the extras you would get.

Thanks, I'm sure it's up to me, but how much does the add on cost?

Did you try to look this up in the Presonus shop?

If you can afford it, you will save time, money and frustration in the long run if you just go ahead and get professional since you know you need to use 3rd party plugins.

The only way I would advise a lesser-version is if you just absolutely can not afford Pro but you really want to get started right away.

You can do S1 on a 24-month rent-to-own program through Splice if you prefer...

It's an option if your budget can't handle the outlay up front but $17 a month fits your budget better.
