Assigning MIDI to Start / Stop / Record

In the past I've used Ableton Live with a MIDI footswitch to trigger the start, stop, record, etc. after programming and assigning CC triggers.

Is it possible to do with the current version of Studio One Professional?

Yes it is possible although the procedure is diferent than S1 V.2
