Dear Community,

Every time I open up the Studio One program I get the message

The audio device Zoom R16-24 has failed to start correctly.

Found a Youtube video which shows someone using the R24 with Studio One.

Have no idea what next to do.

Has anyone every had this experience. with this recorder interface controller.

Blessings

That usually means that the device is not synced correctly to the PC. You can also see that message if the device is powered off when starting studio one. If there are no issues with the device connecting to the pc, then you should be able to use "retry" and continue on. If that isn't working, then there is either a driver issue preventing proper sync to the pc, or the device is not there.

That's all I can suggest at this point with the information given.

I have also same issue by using the audio device Zoom R16-24.

I'm using Windows 10 for this.
Actually, I have done an upgrading to Studio One version 3 recently.
Then, after that I'm facing this issue :( .

However, I was using same interface with Studio One version 2 before an upgrade.
And there were no issues :? .

Operation behavior and timing is the same.
but result is different  .

Therefore, I feel it has a possibility of bug of version 3.

I have the same problen, I cannot get my Zoom R16 connected to Studio One3 as a controller that function does not apply... sad thing, because I got the idea that it would work from tubevideos....

The audio-interface mode does connect via usb.

New drivers fetched and trying via USB.

I have a MacBookPro (and a Firestudio tube too)

Thanks for any help

For the control surface part, if the device supports it, needs to be added as a new external device. I think it needs to be added as a keyboard for control surface functions.
