Thanks a lot. However it is still a bit confusing, because I found this information:
Important Note for Studio One Artist Users: 3rd party VST integration is not supported in Studio One Artist version 1 or version 2. You must have registered and activated Studio One as the Producer or the Professional versions to have VST support with Studio One.

Customers who already have Studio One Artist may decide to purchase an upgrade to Producer or Professional either via our online webstore or from an Authorized Dealer such as Guitar Center, Sam Ash, Musician's Friend, Sweetwater, AMS, etc. You may be upgrading StudioOne Artist version 1 to StudioOne Artist version 2, the same steps will apply. Upon payment for the upgrade, you should receive a 28-digit Upgrade Key from the vendor. Some stores will print this on their store receipt. Online sales typically involve an email sent to the customer to serve as both a payment receipt and product (Key) delivery method.

(I click but the site is gone)
So question are:
Is this described here an outdated method? Is installing the product you linked to all I need to do? Is that the same as upgrading to producer status?
