Hi there. New to both S1 4 and JS4 so I'm struggling a little. I have just created a pattern in the S1 4 pattern editor that I want to import into JS4 as a groove. How do I export out of S1. I have actually found the way but it exports as a pattern file and not a midi file and JS4 cannot recognize.
So I guess my question is whether I can export a midi file (*.mid) out of Studio 1 and not a pattern file? |

Haven't used V4 much yet, but I think there is a way to click on the item in the arrangement window and convert it back to the piano roll. Once you have done that open the browser and click and drag the item to a location on your hard drive. You may have to use the shift key when doing this to change between exporting the item as audio or as a midi file.
