Apologies from the get go, I don't have much of an idea what I'm doing. I did enlist the help of Google first. The more I think about it, the more unlikely it seems, but would one be able to play through, say, a Line 6 Guitarport XT using their amp models and record the output via Studio One?
GuitarPort can work with other Windows audio applications that support ASIO, DirectSound or MME.
Per their description of the product I found on the web, you should be able to use S1 as a recording platform. Just set up the Line 6 driver in the Audio preferences.
And yet everyone wonders why, alone in your room with a laptop and a bunch of plugins, you can't compete

Yeah, not had the best of luck with Line6 ASIO drivers. I've gotten better results with Guitarports/UX-1's by using another audio interface and just using Gear Box as a VST plugin. Likewise, I've gotten better results with POD's just using them as outboard FX processors.
