hi , I'm kind of new to music production i have been actively producing for about 2 months.recently i upgraded my pc's graphics card and ram because of latency and overall performance but the latency has remained the same. ive messed with all the buffering settings but they haven't many any noticeable difference. Im using a nektar lx25 impact midi keyboard on default windows audio. All help is much appreciated .

There are some things you can do to reduce latency but the best way is to get the best outboard sound interface you can afford. For use with a single MIDI keyboard, something like the Scarlett 2i2 could be enough for you, but you might like to take future expansion into account, e.g. if you plan on using several mics, hardware synths, etc.
