Hello everyone,
Today I got my Acorn Masterkey and I'm totally new with all this stuff so please forgive me if my question is silly. I was searching in the Options but I could not find anything. Is it possible to change the pitch in Studio One to a=430? I want to use this keyboard to record some samples and practice with it. I play natural horn which tunes in 430, this is why I need my samples to be in the same pitch. Thanks in advance, Mateusz |
mefju200 wroteHello everyone, Well, anything that YOU record and sample will play back exactly as you recorded it, unless you specifically choose to alter it. So you're good there. "Studiio One", per se, has no pitch. It's a recording system. Now "soft synths" that you might access thru S1 are pitch based, and I'd dare say that most, if not all of them will have the ability to vary their pitch within themselves. |
Thanks for your answer.
Well, this is what I actually need. To change the pitch of the "soft synth" (If I understand you well, these are the intruments I can choose from the base). I of course undarstand that if I take my horn and record something with a mic it will be in the same pitch I played it I found a knob (the one in the blue frame) that changes the pitch of the instrument. The thing is that it's not quite precise and I cannot tune it exactly in 430. I was wondering if there is any option to set the exact tuning of the synthetic instrument included in StudioOne base. |
