If you want to send to a FX bus/channel post channel fader, try this.

Example: You may want to pan sends to a multi-mono compressor bus that reacts appropriately to panning from your working channel.

* Bus the channel you're working with to a discreet stereo "Pan Bus"
* Put the sends to your multi-mono buses on the pan bus

Now you can send a post-pan, post-fader signal from your working channel the the pan bus, which manages your various other multi-mono bus sends. All of your pan automation is done on your working channel. This works great when you are working with multiple parallel buses.

Party on!

What is all this added complication?

Just use a send, by default its post fader, then just apply your pan settings to the send.
