Hi,

Here a very simple little tip to speed up the Drag-n-Drop action in Studio One Pro 3.5.2 , since the divider of the browser area can be moved to the left quite a bit, the distance you need to drag an Instrument, of effects plug-in from the Browser to the tracks area is greatly minimized, hence speeding up the process, especially handy if you are loading lots of Instruments, as you are building your sessions main Instruments, Effects, ...etc.

Here is a GIF showing it in action :

You are not obliged to drop the instrument on the track control area to add a new instrument (or multitimbral instrument tracks with subsequent MIDI in). You can also drop those in empty arrangement space (or between tracks).
Even quicker! ;)

Yes, that's true. But my main tip here is that by moving the Browser's vertical divider very close to the Track selection area, or arranger area, the mouse dragging distance is minimized a lot, hence speeding up repetitive drag-n-drop operations, if one needs to load a bunch of VSTs to a song in a speedy manner.

You missed his point, that you only have to cross the dividing line to drop anything from the browser, that there's never any need to have them close together like in your example or to release it over the track panel, only over the "lane" of the track where you want it.

The arrange space is always right next to the browser so as soon as you cross the vertical scroll bar you can drop it. You never have to move any farther than that.

I see.

Thanks for clarifying this.
