I would like to be able to turn the "Show events translucent-Show grid lines" on and off with a key command or macro but, I can't find a way to do that. Is this possible and I'm just missing it or??

No, there's no command for it.

That's too bad. I find the grid lines helpful when zoomed out but, annoying when zoomed in. It would be nice to be able to quickly and easily switch back and forth.
