Hi Studio One,

I have setup my template but for all my VST instruments, the tracks are not assigned properly to their respective volume channels in the mixer.

Number 1 shown in the picture shows the volume press of the keyboard. 2 does not. On 3, It shows it played in another volume channel and 4 seems to be setup correctly shown on the second picture below

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Everything seems correct in Vienna Ensemble Pro 7.

Thank you for any advice you can provide me. Eric.

What we cannot see here is if the output routing in VE Pro is correct. So if the instrument that processes MIDI coming in on the Contrabassoon channel is sending out on the correct (Contrabassoon channel) output.

Hi,

I just added the Vienna Ensemble Pro picture. I see it is not working there either... What am I doing wrong here?

I see. You did not do the audio routing in Kontakt. All your Kontakt instruments send out on the first stereo output. So that's going to your first audio channel in VE Pro. And so it's going to the first stereo output of that VE Pro instance in Studio One.

Kontakt output routing is fiddly, so you might need to Google / YouTube how it works. But you need to make sure Kontakt uses all the audio outputs. Currently, it seems you only use the one default stereo output of Kontakt.

Thanks a lot jazzundso,

- I just did a Preset Batch Configuration and it assigned the right outputs for each track now. It works.

- I also assign outputs in Vienna Ensemble from 001 to max using the Alt key to bind them all at once, instead of setting up each Kontakt in that instance outputs to 001 to 032.
I thought I had to match the output to the Kontakt 16 VST, but no... in Vienna, all outputs have to be different. DUH!

Thanks again.
Eric.
