I hope everybody is aware that midi creation/generating plugins are at the moment incompatible with the current version of Studio One. Scaler runs in demo mode, EZKeys gets stuck in the project and can't be completely deleted (ghost notes and sounds keep popping up after you remove the instrument), and Playbeat and other Audiomodern plugins act weird (do not respond if you click on something, etc). These are just a few that I have tested. I suspected that this was a S1 issue and not the plugins themselves, but just to make sure I tested them all in Cubase and they worked fine there. I opened a ticked with Presonus and they replied quickly to let me know that they were aware of the issue with Scaler (that was the only one I had tested a few days ago when I wrote to them). I hope they can fix this soon because these are plugins that many of us who unfortunately aren't towering virtuosos can not live without.

This is indeed a plug-in issue. Studio One 6.6 uses the latest version of the VST3 specifications. Such changes may show flaws in the plug-ins themselves, such as with Diva or Scaler 2.

As you can read in the Scaler forum, Scaler has worked on a fix which is going to be released tomorrow.

“Just to make sure” implies that this is proof, but this is not technically correct. Since every host is set up differently, uses or provides different features and reacts differently in different situations, it can always happen that plug-ins behave differently in different hosts. This is why it is so important that plug-ins in all versions (VST2, VST3, AU etc.) are tested in compatible hosts.

In this case, as I said, Studio One 6.6 uses the latest version of the VST3 SDK. This doesn't necessarily apply to the version of Cubase with which you performed the tests.
