Hello! If I render an audio track that has melodyne or revoice pro on it, it gives me the option to restore to the original at any point; is that correct?

The reason I ask is I'm used to Pro Tools where I bounce the finished file and put it on a main playlist. Would rendering the audio be the exact same thing, but gives me the option to undo it at any point?

(also, on a side note, if I want to vocalign a tuned vocal, I have to render melodyne FIRST before opening revoice pro, correct?)

"Rendering" or "Bouncing" anything in Studio One usually creates a new standalone file and that new file cannot be "undone". But that should not be an issue since whatever your "rendered" from within an S1 song can be changed and then just rendered again.

Unless I am misunderstanding what you are trying to do here...

Cheers!

I apologize, I should've been a little more detailed haha

I'm speaking specifically in regards to the orange "Render" button in the track inspector for the "Event FX".

What I'm wondering is does this behave like a track freeze for things like Melodyne and Revoice Pro/Vocalign? And if I hit the orange "Render button" in the track inspector; in the event I save the project and open it up the next day and needed to make an adjustment, will the blue "Restore" button still be available in the track inspector, and then I can restore it and make edits, and re-render, etc.?

Resurrecting this thread!

I had a question about rendering audio. Whenever I render an Event FX, for example Melodyne, it always gives me a notification that Sonarworks is still on.

My concern is that Rendering Event FX is taking my master fader into account. Is that not the case? Do I need to disable Sonarworks off of my Master fader?

Bumping this up because I still wasn't sure about this :)

Every time I do an event based render, Sonarworks gives me a notification to turn it off and render again.

Do Event Based renders (wether by hitting the render button or the macro) consider a 2 bus chain or Master Out chain at all?
