Does anyone else have this issue? I tried to describe it a year or so ago, and thought I figured out the root cause, but it ended up, I didn't find it. In fact, I now have a BRAND new computer, and this does it as well, so it wasn't likely an issue with my older computer...

When I go to mix down, or bounce a track, (including converting a MIDI track to an audio track), on SOME sessions only, when the mix down progress windows comes up, it counts down 10 seconds before even STARTING to do the actual mixdown. This gets REALLY annoying when converting several MIDI tracks to audio tracks as on smaller events that only takes 3 seconds to bounce normally, now have an added 10 second "wait" at the beginning.

Is there a CACHE or something that needs to be cleared? Is there a setting in Studio One that I have missed somewhere?

It's SUPER annoying. :)

Does this only happen with a certain plug-in or with every plug-in? (instrument and effects)
Basically, there's no reason for Studio One to add this delay before starting mixdown. I haven't seen this myself either. But when an offline bounce is done, the plug-ins have all the time they need for rendering... so that suggests that the delay is caused by a plug-in.

I haven't been able to narrow it down to a specific plugin. I thought at one time that it had to do with Roland Sound Cloud wanting to authenticate, but that wasn't it. It seems to happen to different songs with different plugins. It is POSSIBLE it could be one particular one, but I really can't seem to track it down. And the thing is, even if I bounce a SINGLE track it does it. On every track in that song, so that kind of eliminates it being a specific plugin, as it does it on tracks even with NO plugins.
