Hi everyone
I have studio one 5 PRO, I would like to switch to 6 and I would like to understand how many licenses I get when I upgrade. Will I have 6 licenses again? Thanks for your help |

Every licence (code) you buy allows you to activate that version of S1 on up to 5 computers. The activations are tied to and managed from your My.PreSonus account. So when you replace one of your computers you can cancel its S1 activation for reuse on the replacement computer.

You just have one license but you can install S1 on 5 machines.
I'm not sure if upgrading would change anything. When you upgrade you're changing the version but still using the same machines.

AFAIK the activations for the two versions are independent, i.e. you can have V5 on 5 computers and V6 on 5 other computers, all from the same account. So after you upgrade you still have to activate the new version for every computer you install it on.
