Are your audio interface drivers and firmware up to date?

At first I had a laptop with Windows 10 and Studio One 4, AudioBox USB 96, wich worked very good.
I bought a new laptop with Windows 11 and tried to put Studio One 4 on it but there was no sound and all the amps were gone.
I bought Studio One 6 Artist and at first I had no sound but that problem was resolved, but I saw that once again all the amps and cabinets in Studio one 6 were gone.

So now I havent played guitar for 2 weeks because I just can't use the software.
My question is obiously how to solve it to have once again amps and cabinets that are simply missing now.

I réally hope someone have an awnser.

So you are running the latest studio one 4 (or 6) update? Also the latest windows updates?
You've downloaded the latest universal control software,
made sure you installed the latest drivers and checked.your firmware for updates for your audio interface?

I have Studio One 6 now and it's updated.
Windows 11 is also updated.
Universal control software is downloaded and up to date

I can't find new drivers.

The latest drivers get installed when you install universal control. It prompts you to select your drivers.

You say you downloaded universal control but have you actually run it after installation, and checked the firmware for your gear?

A good old fashioned reboot is a good idea afterwards too.

Great release, personally. I like it a lot.
Love the video track and the lyric improvements. Lots of workflow improvements and enhancements. Track templates still needs some work, here at least.

Didn't notice that. But I bought my own upgrade from 5 to 6 at Best Service - they had ranges if serial numbers as released from Presonus. As I recall I had to wait a day or something for some new serial numbers to be released

FWIW I would try the "notify me" thing. Maybe at that price Presonus are more restrictive of no. of sn's they release. FWIW Best Service lists the upgrade at $127.

it's where I get my upgrades more often than not, I got my 5 Pro to 6 Pro there.

I complained about payment issues on the 6.1.0 thread. It appears the issue still persists, Presonus, are you fixing this?

Has anyone else noticed periodic, erratic, high CPU usage since updating to Studio 6.1.1?

I started having these problems two weeks after updating, and now it’s happening so often I can’t use the program.

When I pull up the performance monitor, all the VSTs show high CPU usage when there should be minimal. I have NAP enabled, and this happens even with a new file and 2-3 tracks with Helix Native, and some other plugins.

If windows I suggest you download and use latencymon.

As Al said, put your specs in your sig, but I've been Windows 11 and a new computer (specs in my sig) for a few months now with 6.1.1 and have had no issues...In fact, I can now open a session with 80 tracks on it and run it with no hiccups at all. My previous PC almost choked to death on it. I had to give it the Heimlich every time I tried.

I WAS having trouble with 6.1 at first, but it ended up being a Kontakt 7 issue, NOT a Presonus issue. Native Instruments have since patched Kontakt 7 and I have had no issues since.

There is one big windows 11 slowdown issue right now it's a particular update that needs removing to resolve it (if you don't have the issue then it's obv not an issue) which is why I ask. He can Google how to resolve that.

Otherwise it's latencymon.(and we need his specs).

To be honest this should be troubleshooted on a separate thread..Maybe the mods can move these posts to a new thread.
