Hi All,

I currently use Impact XT for drum replacement. The way I do this is to copy the drum track's bend markers to a MIDI track which gives me the drum hit velocities on a single note. What I then do is select the MIDI notes using a velocity range and then transpose them so I end up with something like:
C2 1-29
C#2 20-59
etc.

The drum library I'm using (from Nashville Sample Company) is multi-velocity (5 ranges) with round robins for each range. I've set this up so that each velocity range is on a single pad with round robins enabled. This way I'm getting the velocities to match the performance and get to use the round robins.

I was wondering whether it's possible to create a macro that does the MIDI range selection and transposition, or even better, if one already exists?

Cheers,

Chris

Quick update:

I tried creating a macro to do what I described above however it didn't work.

I used the SelectNotes (with a range) and then Transpose five times, each time for a different range.

Do I need to add some sort of "pause" between each transpose?
