I have 3 tracks in a group being sent to an FX channel with an EQ loaded. I don't know how to explain this properly, but it sounds like the EQ audio is being played on top of the original unaffected audio. How do I make the EQ audio signal is the only one being played?

I appreciate any insight you might share. Thanks!

Hi and welcome to this forum :)

You need to provide a little more info on how you set things up. What is going where, which plug-ins did you use, etc.

Without having that info my first thought is reverb/delay FX and the dry/wet control on it. Set that to 100% and no dry signal will come out of the plug-in.

My second thought is EQ "FX" plug-ins and sends vs. inserts. Inserts place the plug-in in the audio path where sends (e.g. FX buses) create a parallel path for it.
