Since I use a 4K Monitor Bias FX 2 has only a very small (unscalable) and VERY unworkable screen in SO 6. I love using Bias FX for my electric guitars in Studio One, but can't work with the plugin anymore.
The standalone version work fine on my monitor. Help please! Kind regards Victor |
Try this (from a thread about similar problems with older plugins on 4k monitors. Not my solution but worked for me:
paulbrown4 wroteI have a 4K monitor and it happens to a lot of my plugins. The best solution I found so far is to change it for the S1 app in the Windows application directory by finding the Studio One.exe file (mine is in C:\Program Files\PreSonus\Studio One 5). Right click on it, go to Properties, then the Compatibility tab, then at the bottom click Change high DPI settings (or Change settings for all users, your choice), again at the bottom High DPI scaling override, check the box and pick Scaling performed by : System (or System (Enhanced), it seems to work the same). You can also do it for all users if you use that option. Hit OK 3x then restart S1. |
Thank you very much AAV!
The 'System setting' works, but Studio One gets very inresponsive. Tried the 'enhanced' setting as well. This results in a very small window for Bias FX (not usable). I'll try tweaking things.... and hope things will work fine. |
Interesting. I don't see any sluggishness etc here. You have a 12th gen cpu - curious if you've run latencymon recently - and what you're using for a graphic card?

If you're interested or continue to have issues with sluggishness it might be good to ascertain whether the problems are dpc latency related which the free app "latencymon" can help you identify. https://www.resplendence.com/latencymon
Check this thread if interested (I know this is specific to Windows 11 but more about the core architecture of 12 and 13 gen CPU's and the impact on interrupt scheduling): https://forum.level1techs.com/t/i-think-ive-found-an-issue-with-dpc-latency-on-windows-11-with-12-and-13-gen-intel-processors/193867 |
