We use S1 to run a live church Sunday broadcast mix, and it's been pretty awesome and reliable thus far.

We typically have 3-4 vocalists singing at a time, and they regularly switch singing melody/harmony on different songs, and sometimes within the same song. I like to keep the melody vocal at unity and then drop the harmony/bgv tracks around -10db so that the melody can stand out in the mix.

The problem is that it's quite annoying to have to make those adjustments on the fly, because sometimes those melody swaps happen quite fast.

So my question is: Is it possible to create some sort of macro button, call it "highlight VOX 1" (or something like that and have the macro set the VOX 1 channel to 0db and then set VOX 2, VOX 3, and VOX 4 to -10db. And then just create additional macros to highlight each respective vocal while dropping the others.

I feel like this is pretty straightforward, but I haven't been able to find a solution anywhere on the forums. Perhaps automation is the way to go?

First thought: Could be a job for the splitter tool.
