I am talking about this ugly white section:
https://i.imgur.com/atTAVIl.png It looks ugly and out of place, now that V6 did a facelift I hoped that they fixed this but no. Look how FL Studio or Adobe programs do it, it doesn't have to be this way. I know Shift + F hides that section but then you lose all of the additional menus, and also when you Shift + F, S1 does not allow any other software to be on top (Splice for example) and it's unusable that way.

I think I am the only one bothered by it.

Maybe I don't notice because I have Windows show the accent color on title bars and window borders.
That and I'm usually looking below the title bar |
I think they should make it the style of the forums.

jrgmanfredhuser wroteWhy don't you switch to Fullscreen-Mode (press [Shift]-F in Studio One)? It hides the title bar as well as the Windows-Taskbar and it looks fantastic True - except you have to press shift-F again to get at the main menus. I choose to 'look below the title bar'

Yes you can do this but, 1. You can't see the additional menus 2. You can't use any other application on top while it is full-screen (Splice, for example), it blocks them Edit: By the way, colors look really good, what settings do you have for appearance?

I really like using fullscreen-mode. As far as i know all the commands from the menues are available as context-menues or as keycommands/macros. But I don't use third party applications like splice.
These are my settings: |
Fornicras wrote Yes, really like the fullscreen mode but this is superannoying. Im too old to have all those shortcuts in my head. Also the stay on top tag should not be used. Just tried a couple of other apps, they all behave as you expect but when you try alt tabbing to another app from Studio One fullscreen system just shifts focus but you can´t see what you do. Probably also the cause why people cant use other apps on top of Studio One fullscreen. Fullscreen and Always on top is a pretty bad combo. |
