I keep getting this message when I scan for new plugins.

How do I fix this? Re-starting Studio One does not fix the problem (the message is a lie, lol).

Anyone have any info they can share?

I haven't seen this. Are you able to see which specific plugs?

Yes, it shows which plugins.

In the past it was a lot of wav plugins and after not being able to figure out what was going on I simply gave up on the plugins and deleted them.

Now... my S-gear v2 (Scuffman amp sim) is showing up. There has been a new plugin (v3) which is working fine, but I'd like to keep v2 around for legacy projects.

I also have this issue while loading Dimension Pro X64 and Rapture X64. A message pops up that says the plugins will load the next time you start studio one, and then upon restart, they are still unavailable. I have just updated to version 6 of Studio One. I have not been able to make sense of this myself.

Try...

Take a note of your plugin folder paths, then delete them all. Reset the blacklist. Restart a couple.of times. Only if necessary add them back in.

Intel i9 9900K (Gigabyte Z390 DESIGNARE motherboard), 32GB RAM, EVGA Geforce 1070 (Nvidia drivers).
Dell Inspiron 7591 (2 in 1) 16Gb.
Studio One Pro 6.x, Windows 11 Pro 64 bit, also running it on Mac OS Catalina via dual boot (experimental).
Presonus Quantum 2626, Presonus Studio 26c, Focusrite Saffire Pro 40, Faderport Classic (1.45), Atom SQ, Atom Pad, Maschine Studio, Octapad SPD-30, Roland A300, a number of hardware synths.

I have installed the Waves plugin "NLS Non-Linear Summer" V14. In FL Studio, the plugin works normally, while Studio One 6 does not see it. After the plug-in scan is complete, the following window pops up: "Some plug-ins will be updated the next time you start Studio One." I've had this problem for a long time, but not for new plugins! I've checked that this applies to Waves plugins, but also other developers. After reopening Studio One, no change.

It's normal, requires a second restart of studio one, hence I wrote "restart studio one a couple of times". If it persists make sure you've done what I've stated in my previous post.

I get that WAVES plugin notice every time - regardless of rebuilding the blacklist, restarting S1 50 times or even deleting the entire plugin DB and starting over with a fresh scan over and over and over again.

Whatever S1 is doing - it's not actually doing it. Or - this crazy Waves layout - which flies in the face of every other normal VST plugin developer out there who simply supply each plugin as a standard .dll file - is the culprit.

As I rely on several Waves plugins heavily - I have to put up with this annoying behavior but it would be nice to know exactly why S1 is posting this seemingly useless message and why nothing I do ever seems to make it go away.

It didn't help.

I launched the Plug-In Manager and the "Remove Plug-In Settings" button. Plug-In Manager thoroughly scanned all plugins again and found all missing ones.

This exactly what I do - completely kill and rebuild the plugin DB and that message still appears. Regardless of how many times I restart S1 after seeing it.

ya, same issue with only one arturia plug from the fx collection.

did the dance of deleting all plugin folder paths, reset the blacklist, restart a couple.of times.
all good in other DAWs, but did try reinstalling the plugin as well.

same...

and since trying to -fix- it,

i don't get it.

And still hangs on Update Plug-in List for all Softube plugins, despite have re-installed them.

NP with any of these in any other DAW
No idea what changed (as these all scanned previously with no flags)
