Hello, everyone

So the other day I was recording some guitar tracks for a documentary short when all of a sudden the most hideous distortion came out blasting.

So imagine you have a track, or even ten as it doesn't matter, and you take that track and pan it left or right and as you're panning, the distortion is progressively getting worse. you're in stereo mode here, but if you switch to mono then it disappears.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thank you very much,
t.

thanks a lot for the reply.

So I managed to solve the issue about twenty minutes ago. After reinstalling studio one, cleaning my hard-drive amongst other things, it actually came down to a rather simple solution.

As I was getting up off the chair, I noticed a crackle-like sound in my headset. So I unplugged, blew on, replugged every cable I could find and voila, problem solved. Back in business.

thanks again, though.
