I was just attempting to set up an Akai LPD8 in S1 to test out the the knobs. Within the LPD8 software I have made knob 1 control Modulation CC#1, and knob 2 control Expression CC#11.

Both knobs work fine according to the S1 midi monitor, they both show the correct CC assignment etc. However, when I try on a track only knob 2 works, ie. I see the orange midi activity indicator and it can record. With knob 1 there is nothing. I have tried assigning CC#1 to a different knob but still the same thing.

Modulation CC#1 is sent correctly from other devices I have.

I've seen I can pretty easily assign the knob to control the modulation within S1, but it would be nice to know what is going on here.
