i can easily load in an instance of presence for a new track...
say, a piano track. record, no problem. playback no problem then i create a new track, to do a synth overdub... load in presence, and it's the same setting as the piano track. if i change that setting to a synth, then the piano track i previously recorded, changes to the synth track. and back, and forth..... cannot figure it out. i just want to be able to load say, 10 different keyboard parts, with 10 different instruments, and have them all separate from each other. what am i doing wrong? tnx in advance

reggie1979beatz wroteNot sure if I'm doing it right, but when I load multiple presence tracks, they are all different. what i'm doing is creating new tracks, and using the 'instrument' setting at the beginning of each track creation. but when i do into the 2nd track i made, and call up the synth, it defaults to the previous settings, and if i change it in track #2, it also changes it in track #1. these are not copies of previously created tracks they are all brand new tracks.

Yes, you have created new tracks but they're still routed to the same instance of Presence.
You need to: - Drag a new instance of Presence into your song from the Browser. This creates a new Presence instance AND a new track or - Right-click the track and hit "Duplicate (complete)". This duplicates not only the track but also the instrument instance.
