For about a month now I've been using this exclusively vs. the other tuners for bass and guitar. It's been great, and I don't think it used to be. I seem to remember a while back it being REALLY inaccurate. Crimmny, my guitar has never been in tune so well now

Also, the "calibration" is REALLY handy. Frequently my bass is "too sharp" for my productions. Eh, just lower the calibration a bit, WALLA! Perfect.

oh, I also recall, tuner was a junk back in v3 days. I even submitted a support request about this and I was told, everything is perfect and nothing to fix. no idea when they fixed it, but they probably did and it's now a bit more usable.

nothing really compares to a real hardware strobe tuner tho.

I would check the intonation on the guitars for sure. I would also check how much pressure you are putting on the fretboard with your fingers as that will make things go sharp, especially with thinner strings.

Side note: Subway has a good tuner sandwich in a pinch

Well, that is what I'm giving praise for. It's terrific for dialing in intonation, and I don't have any problems lately. Chords that were slightly out of tune really are not anymore.

My main squeezes are SO dialed in!

The one in "amp room" isn't bad. But the one in Amplitube is AWFUL! Just AWFUL!

!

Subway, eat fresh? Not sure if that is real tuner.

Give it a go!

It may not work as well for you, but it is working really well here. I wouldn't follow an old rule of "tune to the sharp" though. Let it settle to the actual pitch and you should be golden.
