Feedback please as to how well the MK2 works with S1 and your thoughts on MK1 vs MK2 if you have had both? Thanks.

No issues with Machine Studio but I don't really use the Machine plugin anymore, if you Google around you could perhaps find some great templates when using it in Mackie mode.
Intel i9 9900K (Gigabyte Z390 DESIGNARE motherboard), 32GB RAM, EVGA Geforce 1070 (Nvidia drivers).
Dell Inspiron 7591 (2 in 1) 16Gb. Studio One Pro 6.x, Windows 11 Pro 64 bit, also running it on Mac OS Catalina via dual boot (experimental). Presonus Quantum 2626, Presonus Studio 26c, Focusrite Saffire Pro 40, Faderport Classic (1.45), Atom SQ, Atom Pad, Maschine Studio, Octapad SPD-30, Roland A300, a number of hardware synths. |

Thanks. I'm referring to the Komplete Kontrol keyboard though. I edited the title to make that clearer.

Ah sorry, I was thinking Machine MK2.
Well I've used KK with Machine Studio as well and had no issues for what it is worth.

Komplete Kontrol MK2 works really well. IIRC, there was some bitterness over lack of support for the MK1 lineup, but you should double check.
For me, the transport controls and the mixer are the handiest. Being able to adjust levels with the MK2 while having the Editor view open in SO is a huge click saver Here is a ref from NI https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q ... WYm5VVxHem |

I have no problem with my MK1. I just can't switch tracks with the dial without hitting the "instance" button, which is about the only feature I care about that the Mk2 supports. The MK2 makes editing multiple tracks of KK easier, but still...the Instance Button is there for that.

Love my Komplete Kontrol MK2. It's been rock solid for years and the S1 integration is fantastic. I recently picked up an Arturia KeyLab 61 MK2 and I find it a great companion piece to the Komplete Kontrol. I don't use the Komplete Kontrol plugin as much as I used to (I've shifted to using the V Collection more), but as a stand alone controller, the S61 is an excellent controller.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I've decided not to purchase the mk2 and stay with mk1. The added functionality is too limited to justify the cost..

If all you're looking for is transport control this works great:
