SOLVED - CTC-1 Console Emulation - On PC with no license

Just FYI, it looks like CTC-1 doesn't fail gracefully if you transfer your project to a PC that doesn't have a CTC-1 license.

I sent my project to a co-contributor to add some parts. He loaded up the project and had pops/clicks.

After much troubleshooting and wasted time, we discovered the problem.

On my machine, I have CTC-1 and use it on a few busses. The co-contributor does not have CTC-1.

His project did not complain about CTC-1 and did not automatically disable mix FX. When we manually disabled mix FX on the busses, the pops/clicks went away.

Just something to be aware of if anyone else works on shared projects that don't have exact duplicates of all the FX and plugins.

And also be aware of these "gotcha's":

- When coming back to a song after some time after updating S1.
- Uninstalling a plugin used in a song.
- The trial period expires on a plugin.

A song may not open or even possibly crash S1.
