I hope I explain this clearly-

I have created a drum track in S1 (5.5.2) using impact. I have overdubbed kick, snare, toms, ride, etc. on a single instrument track. In the Mixer, Impact presents each instrument as separate channels, all good so far. (Surprisingly, I am able to use Audio plugins in these instrument tracks, that never was possible using Pro Tools). OK, now, I want to bounce/render/transform this drum track to a single stereo pair. When I select Transform to Audio Track, it creates an audio file for each channel and takes a long time as well.
Is there any way to create a single stereo file?
Do I need to record the tracks differently in order to accomplish this?
Will programming Impact to have all pads use the same channel work?

All input is appreciated-

Create a bus for the drum channels (good idea anyway) and stem that to a track?
