Reinstalled the application after wiping every file containing Studio One. Of course, I did the obvious and restarted my computer, but it did nothing. I also changed my graphics setting and it still stayed the same, so I have no clue what the problem is as it was fine the day prior.

Hi marqlopez,

Also "wiping every file" may be cause for concern. If the program was not fully uninstalled via uninstall (first and foremost), there could be dormant, or still files within the Registry and may be problematic even to your video driver, or files in general.

Good you followed the complete shut down and restart process (cold boot), but did you delete any of Studio One's files prior to performing a uninstall? Could be vital. A song file wouldn't be an issue, but deleting the program files within Stuio One, or driver files could corrupt the uninstall process.

I'm guessing you performed an uninstallation, when you say, wiped every file.

I gave it a try and it had the same problem, though less extreme, but after a while I can't read the test.

Preferences/General/Enable Graphics Hardware Acceleration. I would check that and see if it does anything . Probably not but work a try.

I would put the graphics setting on the PC back where you had it when it was working.

May need to UNINSTALL the graphics driver and device and reboot

Ok I fixed it the easy way by reinstalling windows since nothing helped.

Great, pretty severe fix, but glad you got it back!

I'd agree with shanabit and put the graphics setting on the PC back to where it was working prior to the issue or uninstall and re install the driver.

By "reinstalling Windows" (ouch) you could have also went back to a previous Window update and load that which is another easy fix.

Cheers!
