I just found this issue, and it's really weird. I downloaded a midi file and added it in S1 and added Mai Tai. It didn't make any sound first. So, I changed the preset, and it made sound. However, if I stop and play again, it doesn't make sound again.
I tried it with Presence, and it has the same issue. Thus, I thought the midi file probably causes the issue, so I tried it with a 3rd party synth, and it works fine.

It's first time to have this issue. Has anybody had the same issue with me, or just me?

The MIDI file probably contains automation data that Mai Tai and Presence interpret. Go into your instrument part and see if there is part automation for Volume (MIDI CC 7) or Expression (MIDI CC 11).

Or perhaps a program change....(It would be a CC command)

No and no :) Neither Mai Tai or Presence support program changes. And a program change is not a MIDI CC command.

A good test is to open the instrument’s control window, enable the keyboard part of it, and hit a few keys to see if audio from it gets to the outputs at all. That way you can check if the bottleneck is before or after the instrument.

Not typically, but it CAN be. A normal program change only supports up to 128 different possible programs, however, to get around those limitations, 2 CCs (0 and 32) can be used to allow you to send bank commands to make the Program Change support up to around 2 million different possible changes. THAT is what I was asking, because if a command is sent that changes to a bank that doesn't exist on the instrument, you might get a nul sound.

I did not, however, know that Mai Tai and Presence doesn't even support program change, so those two CCs wouldn't even matter in that case.
