I purchased a plugin called Dulcitone. I unzipped it to my E: drive (SSD) into the same folder where I have all my "other" full Kontakt instruments (not the ones installed by using the Native Access app). Unzipping created two folders, one called Dulcitone - Recording 1 and the other called Dulcitone - Recording 2 and each folder contains sample data.

When I run Kontakt in Studio One and navigate to the Dulcitone (Recording 1 or Recording 2) plugin I find both of those and they are in .nkm format. When I add either of those .nkm plugins to my instrument window I get a message that asks if I should Replace or Merge. If I select "Replace" it then says "Content Missing". If I click on Browse for folder and navigate to the correct Dulcitone folder it then adds the instrument and I can play the instrument normally. However, if I remove the instrument or start from scratch again, I have to go through this whole process again. kontakt (or Studio One) doesn't remember where the instrument folder is.

How do I get Kontakt (or Studio One) to remember where the correct folder is so that I can avoid the "Content Missing" message and then have to find the folder every time?

Thanks for your help.

I suspect this is a Kontakt issue. Click the manage libraries button in Kontakt (Top left under Libraries), then Options and lastly Database. In there you can add update etc. If you have already done that then someone else may have a solution but I am convinced this is not a Studio One problem but then I am not an expert. Hope that helps.

It's not Studio One. It's Kontakt. I got this when I had to move some sample folders around to a new HD. All you have to do is Browse to find your files, then go to the DISC icon and Save As (or if it's multi, Save Multi as) and make a new nks file. Then use THAT file next time you go to load it.

This would work if it was in the Kontakt library, but he said it's not, since he didn't use the NA to install it. It's a side load sample set. He just needs to create a new nks file like I showed above. That'll solve it. It's super simple, and definitely not a Studio One issue.
