Hello,
how to toggle instrument automation with Behringer X-Touch (MCU)?
When I press "Touch" for example the Track automation Touch mode gets enabled:

I know that we can enable it via keyboard shortcut after manually dragging the parameter to a track, but it would be a lot faster and more convenient, to just press the Touch Button and start tweaking as it is possible with the track automation (eg volume).

Is there a way to sync the state of the Track automation and Plugin(Instrument) automation, please?

Thank you very much!

What I've done after (invoking midi learn) with my midi keyboard is click on a parameter either directly on the channel or in/on a plugin on the channel.
Then I turn, press or slide a knob which then assigns it there.

I see a lot of YouTube videos about the Behringer X-Touch but unfortunatley they're all about the other DAWs. :(
Is it possible to correlate what to do in Studio One by watching one (or a few) of them?

Thank you for the reply!

I know how to assign parameters to the Pots/Faders.
I ask how to change the automation mode from the controller for Plugins. (eg read, touch)

Is there a hotkey slot for this? I've assigned a shortcut, then a controller button to the shortcut for some things in the past.

It is possible via shortcust as i stated above, but thats anything else than intuitive when jaming around. You would first need to drag an drop the desired parameter to a track with the mouse, only after that the shortcut works. That defeats the purpose of a shortcut :)

It would be way more useful if we just could enable touch and tweak the desired parameter and an automation lane is added automatically. That's how it works with a FaderPort 16 btw.
