I composed a piece in Notion 6 and transferred both audio and midi to Studio One (latest version). When I add a VST to a midi track and select a sound in that VST, it reverts back to the default sound that VST opened with. For example, I place AAS on a midi track and when it opens I select a specific sound (Jade), but when I go to play back it reverts to the sound it opened with (Fat 48). I've tried selecting the sound and saving, but it still switches.
I'm sure this is something simple that I'm missing. Any help?

Most likely there is a Program Change message at the beginning of your midi part. Which AAS instrument are you using? The response to midi Program Change can be disabled in AAS instruments, you can disable that feature and see if your AAS instrument will switch the patch or not on playback.

Nailed it in one. Removed the program change and problem solved. Thanks Patrick!
