When improving on piano I sometimes want to view a particular chord I hear when I playback a recorded MIDI track. I don't always know what I played and when I have the editor up I can see the keyboard roll playing the MIDI, highlighting notes in blue but as soon as I press stop the highlight goes away.
I would like the editor to highlight the notes that the cursor is over even if playback has stopped (for several reasons). It would be nice to be able to click the editor timeline and have the cursor show the notes wherever you click. Can you do this? |
No I can't do that at all!
I can watch the notes in the editor as it plays. What are those magnifying glass things that Windows has, something like that might help to see? Submit your request at https://answers.presonus.com/studio-one ... e-requests

This is similar to requests to have the timeline be still and move the music behind like some DAWs do. They could be rolled together probably...
