Do I chew up two of my five license allowed? Or can I install both concurrently using only one license?

Thanks!

It probably takes an activation. Try it and see, you can always uninstall and get the activation back.

Make sure you back up your current projects before you interchange between versions.

Intel i9 9900K (Gigabyte Z390 DESIGNARE motherboard), 32GB RAM, EVGA Geforce 1070 (Nvidia drivers).
Dell Inspiron 7591 (2 in 1) 16Gb.
Studio One Pro 6.x, Windows 11 Pro 64 bit, also running it on Mac OS Catalina via dual boot (experimental).
Presonus Quantum 2626, Presonus Studio 26c, Focusrite Saffire Pro 40, Faderport Classic (1.45), Atom SQ, Atom Pad, Maschine Studio, Octapad SPD-30, Roland A300, a number of hardware synths.

Thanks PreAl, yeah... I can always roll back. I'm not much of a "power user" anyway, sticking with old school approach to composing and recording, and a lot of the bugs and glitches that updates can cause usually don't pop up in my workflow.

Cheers.

I have checked with some people and they say it is machine related. One activation for both versions. But try it and see. You have plenty to play with and they are easy to get back.

5 activations.

"You can activate your StudioOne software 5 times total. You can choose to use the 5 activations on 5 different computers if you need to."

I'm pretty sure it's one activation per install and not per machine. Certainly I run multiple OS's on one machine and use several activations not just one

You'll find out anyway.
