I'm happy to introduce the first official scripting extension for Studio One!
Until now, I could only use these scripts privately for myself. Thanks to my good friends at PreSonus Software who provided the technical infrastructure, I am now able to share the scripts as well. They're available on https://studioonescripts.com! Here's my video demonstrating all the features I packed into this scripting extension: The Forward & Rewind commands move the playback cursor in different steps (beats, frames, grid). The "Nudge Events" command works for events in the arrangement as well as for notes in the editor. You can create macros for different values (for CSS, Oceania etc etc.). The "Show Tracks with Selected Events" and "Solo Selected Events" commands and macros turned out quite useful for multi-part MIDI editing and previewing sections (bass + drums, strings + woodwinds etc.). Here's the full list of new commands that will be added to Studio One:
Installation: Drag the .install file into Studio One and restart - that's it. Depending on the OS, double-clicking the .install file to open it should work as well. More scripting extensions are already planned. I hope you like it and I'm looking forward to your feedback!

Lukas, thank you a thousand times. It has been installed in my computer for several days. Really very useful

Thanks for this. It's definitely useful.
Q. I downloaded your extension by inputting my email address, as requested. I also saw that it this project is at the Beta 0.21 stage. Does that mean I have to keep entering my email address with each new update? Or does the extension (the green thingy) stay the same and only the scripts change from within the exchange section?

It's not a beta version, the current version is 1.0.0.1 and I'm already working on the next update. Updating the extension is simple: You already got the e-mail with the download link. This link will always point to the latest version. So once a new update is available, you can just click the link again to download the new version. Drag this into Studio One (or double-click if this is supported) to update. (If you get the message "Navigation Essentials is already installed!", this means that it's already the installed version.)

Nice stuff! Glad Presonus provided some support.
Would it be possible to get a middle mouse drag for project navigation (horizontal or vertical scrolling) option in the future? Would be nice to see an official version of that one return (was in the old, now defunct, Studio One X extension).

Would be nice to see an official version of that one return (was in the old, now defunct, Studio One X extension). This was probably not done via scripting... That's something that should be included in the program natively.

Yup, the more I use this toolbar, the more I realize how much I needed it. And it's not even Christmas anymore. How 'bout that?

Meanwhile I've added a "Studio One Scripts" section to the Studio One Toolbox project with more information about the scripting extension:
https://s1toolbox.com/studioonescripts Also - for everybody interested in creating macros - there's also a searchable online documentation for Studio One commands and their arguments. I added help texts for some "secret" arguments that has not been published yet. So if you are uncertain about special arguments (for example "Create Crossfades"), the documentation might help: https://s1toolbox.com/macrodocumentation And finally: The first feature update for Navigation Essentials is on the way

Hey Lukas, thanks so much for your work.
Would it be possible to have an argument for the Zoom to Selection command in the future? I use it a lot but I personally don't like how much it zooms, but it's very useful because it's a toggle command
