Hello,

I was talking to the Arturia assistance team and I was wondering.. If I start playback, the playback cursor goes over a series of chords in a midi event, should the lights above each key on the Keystep light up to show me what I previously played or recorded in that midi event?

Meaning, if Studio One sends MIDI back to the Keystep Pro, then it should receive that midi signal and the little lights should turn on.

Arturia told me that it should be this way, but personally if I do that, the Keystep lights do no work. They only work when I am actually playing the keyboard.

Sorry if I couldn't find a better way to explain this but I hope it's clear.
I believe the Native Instruments Kontrol keyboards do this.

Thanks!

And this is what Arturia said, which made me wonder why it doesn't happen to me:

Yes, the note LEDs light up when a key is pressed, a sequence is playing or MIDI note information is being received from a different source, like your DAW.

Well, so either the MIDI information is not being sent from the DAW to the Keystep Pro or the Keystep is not receiving it..
