I often want to grab a selection from an audio clip, or retrospective record and move it to the beginning of a track. Usually a new track, but could be the same track I suppose.
Is there a way to make the selection, then get it to the beginning of a track without having to cut it, move down to the beginning, and paste it? Thanks! |
I work with the arranger track when I start a song (good to put in templates), helps me organize my writing.
It's also it's a very powerful tool. You want to take care in its use. It's perfect for what you want to do, move sections around, real easy to duplicate a section as you move it. You can insert before/after or replace events. https://s1manual.presonus.com/#Arrangin ... 257C_____4 Good to put your specs in your signature, click below in my signature.

I believe there is command "move to origin".
I had written a macro where it would slice the event at my mouse cursor, select the event, and move it to 0. I'll play around with it when I get home and get back to you.
