Studio One not receiving MIDI CC values from external device (Monogram Console)

Hello Everyone!
I am stuck with a nasty problem and can't seem to find a solution nor a workaround to have it work, I was wondering if someone has a solution for this..
I have recently bought a monogram console, for those of you who don't what it is, it's simply a modular midi controller(it's more than that really) but for Music you can assign faders for example to any midi cc values or assign key strokes to keyboard shortcuts or simply control your parameters through midi mapping.
https://monogramcc.com/shop/
The problem is, I have my faders assigned to CC 1, 2 and 11 and S1 simply doesn't receive anything from the controller..noting that this works flawlessly when I tried it with Logic Pro and Ableton Live without even setting anything in the DAWs.
I failed miserably to make this work in S1, I tried setting it up as a controller and even as Mackie Control receiving from the monogram port and still nothing.
The only thing that gave me a different result when I tried setting it up as an instrument then when I touched the fader studio 1 received midi cc signals from the faders but I didn't understand what those were as those values were only related to this instrument and and this instrument number and didn't change anything or send those midi cc values globally to the virtual instruments I was using..Sorry this is a little difficult to explain , if anyone is interested in this specific point I can always post a screenshot.
Just to be clear I am NOT trying to assign specific parameters in synths to those faders which I would usually do through control link and midi learn .. I want them to behave as a global midi cc values exactly like mod wheel in your midi keyboard for example.
I just don't understand how can for example a Komplete Kontrol keyboard send midi cc values like 1 and 11 and S1 receives them flawlessly but when I use the faders that are also set to the same values nothing happens in S1 yet other DAWs receive the midi cc information no problem....
If anyone knows how to fix this or has a workaround please let me know it will be very much appreciated, I hit a dead end here.
Thank you all in advance!
Hassan
