Hi All,

I am new to Studio One and currently setting it up at home with my gear. I am moving over from FLStudio after 20 years!. I am really enjoying the product so far. I do have a problem that I was hoping someone might be able to help with. I have set up all of external synths and fx units as "external instruments". I was hoping to be able to set the program changes for the synths so tht it plays the right patch when the song loads however, I cannot find the program option under the inspector. It is not there for any of my external synths that I have created. I assume I am doing something stupid because I know the feature exists as have seen screenshots of it.

thanks

Paul

ok well, I found a way around it. its not particularly elegant!

if you click the small keyboard logo next to the track for the external synth, you can then click on the drop down that has "Auto" on it. Then click Add/remove paramters and add in the Program change and Bank select LSB. This then makes them available in the envelopes seciton and you can set the required envelope in there. Not sure if thats going to mess things up though. It seems to work fine.

GOT IT!

There's a tiny box that I don't remember having to check before next to the program number. Hit that box!

See here!
