Hello,
I'm trying to run ikmultimedia Sonik Synth as a plug-in but I can't get S1 to find it. It's working as a stand-alone but it doesn't show up in studio one. I'm running the most current version of pro on Windows 7. Can anyone give me some guidance? Thank you! |
korpro wroteHello, To get S1 to find the plug-in (whether running a 32-bit plug-in in a 64-bit S1 will work, is a separate issue), you'll need to find out where IK installed the plugin. Since it's a 32-bit plugin, it'll likely be buried in the Program Files (x86) folder somewhere. Once you find it, start up S1. From the Start page, navigate to "Studio One | Options". From the popup, select "Locations". Then click on the "VST Plug-Ins" tab. There, you will see a list of subfolders that S1 looks in for plugins. Click on the "Add" button, navigate to the subfolder you identified above, and add it to S1. Then you'll be good to go. Now, how well it will work??? Let us know. |
I used Jbridge until they came out with SampleTank 3. It works although I never stress tested it with a real heavy load.
