In the 5.4.1 update, the sustain pedal issue is still ignored. :x

Yep, I noticed it as well and was pretty disappointed. Presonus said the team is aware of it, then why is it taking so long? I don't get it. It's been months.

I wonder why more people did not recognize this problem. Among S1 users so few people play piano and use pedal?

^ Well, I only noticed this bug with Kontakt instruments in the latest 5.x releases.

Another update (6th in a sequence) without resolving this annoying bug. I hope more people will join in this and send their requests to the support.

Yeah I'm really disappointed by this. It's unbelievable it hasn't been fixed yet.

I'll report this (once more). It's probably my third time doing this since 5.2.

I've had the problem, which was raised at the top of this thread, about using a sustain pedal in recording, and not hearing the sustain on playback.

I've now found that if you uncheck the monitor button on playback, the sustain can be heard properly.

The playback issue should have been fixed in 5.5.1, please confirm it here or in the official 5.5.1 thread

This problem looks to be solved now. Thanks to the Presonus developers team, and to people on this forum thread (especially @kisnou) for sharing and supporting.

That's great news, but ironically, around that time my system stopped accepting sustain messages! No matter what I do, none of the old processes and tricks i have used since Studio One v1 get it going again.
I checked my pedal with an eternal synth and it works fine. The sustain just isn't get picked up in Studio One. However, to be fair, it seems the whole PC is now refusing sustain pedal messages and standalone instruments don't respond either - just weird and immensely frustrating. I have no idea how to begin troubleshooting it to prove whether or not Windows 10 is processing the midi signal. Perhaps there is a log somewhere.
