PreAl wroteDelete anything to do with 26C in device manager, reboot. Are you absolutely sure you have the latest UC? Are you absolutely sure you are installing the studio drivers when you install UC? Yes, I have now tried three versions, the current version, the current version with update, and the previous version. I think it's probably something in the substructure of Windows, like Dot net framework that's interfering. I probably should clean up by doing a fresh Windows install and just the programs I really need. Seems that no one else is having the same problems. |
Google SFC and DISM.
Intel i9 9900K (Gigabyte Z390 DESIGNARE motherboard), 32GB RAM, EVGA Geforce 1070 (Nvidia drivers).
Dell Inspiron 7591 (2 in 1) 16Gb. Studio One Pro 6.x, Windows 11 Pro 64 bit, also running it on Mac OS Catalina via dual boot (experimental). Presonus Quantum 2626, Presonus Studio 26c, Focusrite Saffire Pro 40, Faderport Classic (1.45), Atom SQ, Atom Pad, Maschine Studio, Octapad SPD-30, Roland A300, a number of hardware synths. |
PreAl wroteGoogle SFC and DISM. I ran SFC and it found and fixed some corrupt files. My latency has decreased to 100ms, which is a vast improvement. Still nowhere near the 12ms I had before. The corrupt files are a concern. Even more reason to do a clean reinstall of Windows, IMO. |
Run SFC again with repair parameter.
Then run it again to check it's fixed. Then try DISM. Always backup.
