i've got a loop pedal midi sync'd to S1.

It starts and stops fine, just wondering if there is any way to send CC data to it and more specifically if loop start/stop points will automatically send midi cc data?

Sure, quickest way is to add the CC you want to send in the midi editor.

Double click a midi event to open it in the editor.

There's a plus and minus there to add more lanes and the seagull hides all the cc's.

just woindering if i'm thinking about this right.

i could create a "dummy" instrument track that sends a CC# that i correspond with 'stop/start play back" on my looper.

put that at the start of my loop and it should re-trigger the looper every time (possibly?)

You would draw an event the right size then insert some data into the lanes.

Wherever you put the data the message will be sent when the play-marker passes over it.

So if that was at the beginning of the loop it should do what you want.

I don't think CC's are start and stop

looper follows clock yeah but it's trickey sometimes to get a perfect loop and other times i'd like to record a tail so if i could make it automatically restart everytime studio one looped that would make things a lot easier.
