Newbie here..
I have recorded a bongotrack, and some hits are better than others so I want to replace the bad ones with some of the better ones. But no matter how I try to do it - the event I insert pushes the remaining audio to the right. Can someone explain how to avoid this?

What method are you using to do this?

I use the Range tool to select what I want to copy, followed by pressing [Ctrl][C] then clicking the timeline to where I want to paste and press [Ctrl][V] to paste.

Thats how I try to do it - I use the toolbar though

Make sure that "Ripple Edit" mode is turned OFF and then try it:
