I have been optimizing my laptop recently with Studio 26c audio interface.

I've set dropout protection to minimum and I'm on 44.1kHz with release audio device in background unticked, and single (32 bit) process precision...

Amazing I can get it to run 16 and 32 samples pretty well with the odd clicks and stutter. If I play with Chrome or something though it will distort.

128, 256, 512, 1024, and 2048 samples work absolutely fine.

However... 64 samples is a total distorted mess! Considering what I wrote above (i.e. it works pretty well at 16 and 32 samples, and all other samples)... why? Doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

I'm running latest Studio One (Windows) with latest drivers and firmware for the audio interface...

I'm wondering if other Presonus and other audio interfaces could have this issue.

Now I appreciate this is a niche case, but it makes me wonder how optimal the overall situation is with Studio One and/or driver.

Anybody else get the same as me? Just try all your device block sizes, I'm using demo song "KATFYR - Sakura Professional".

Thx

Have you went through and did the tests @ 48k?

It was better for me than 44.1k.

Nope.
I'm looking at this specific use case under 44.1 where 64 samples are distorted, but samples below it or above it don't. I find that weird.
